Epidemiological Situation

In Guadeloupe, since the start of the outbreak (mid-October 2019), nearly 4,000 cases clinically suggestive of dengue have been seen in outpatient settings. Surveillance indicators (outpatient, hospital) remain high for this period.

In Saint Martin, surveillance indicators remain high, with about 40 clinical cases and about 10 laboratory-confirmed cases each week. These figures indicate an epidemic situation.

In Saint Barthélemy, the circulation of the virus has been confirmed on the island with the identification of six laboratory-confirmed cases between December and January. The situation requires close monitoring.
