Dengue Surveillance in Guadeloupe and the Northern Islands. Update as of April 22, 2020.

Epidemiological Situation

Guadeloupe: ongoing epidemic. The predominant circulating serotype is serotype 2. Since early April, dengue surveillance indicators have been rising again.

Saint Martin: ongoing epidemic. The predominant circulating serotype is serotype 1. Dengue surveillance indicators remain high.

Saint Barthélemy: resurgence of biologically confirmed cases. The predominant circulating serotype is serotype 2. Dengue surveillance indicators are on the rise.
The situation should be monitored closely, and a reassessment of the PSAGE phase, in coordination with the CEMIE, should be considered.
