A marked increase in the weekly number of clinically suggestive dengue cases was observed during the last week of November (W2012-48). This indicator remained relatively stable the following week before declining more significantly during the second week of December (W2012-50). This increase, observed during weeks 2012-48 and 49 with 205 and 185 clinically suggestive cases, respectively, was particularly evident in the municipalities of Cayenne, Kourou, and Mana. During the second week of December (W50), 99 cases were estimated across the department.
