COVID-19: Epidemiological Update for Martinique as of November 27, 2020

Key Points

The SARS-CoV-2 epidemic continues to decline, as shown by all epidemiological surveillance indicators. The positivity rate and incidence rate, based solely on RT-PCR testing, were decreasing in week 47 (down 31% and 47% compared to the previous week, respectively). A slowdown in the epidemic was observed in all age groups except among those over 90, where the trend has been stable for the past two weeks. The highest incidence was recorded among those aged 30–39. In hospitals, the number of new hospitalizations for COVID-19 was also declining.
