Individual surveillance since the outbreak

  • 182 biologically confirmed cases from March 5 to May 5

City-wide surveillance in S18*

  • SOS Médecins: 197 cases of suspected COVID-19 per 10,000 cases (versus 262 in S17*)

  • Sentinelles Network: 4 (tele-)consultations for acute respiratory infections per 10,000 inhabitants (vs. 5 in S17*)

  • Community laboratories: positivity rate of 2% (vs. 2% in S17*)

Surveillance in long-term care facilities, including nursing homes

  • 5 reports submitted in total; no new suspected outbreaks in S18

Hospital surveillance

  • Hospital laboratory: no positive tests in W18*

  • ICU/intensive care units: 37 confirmed or probable cases reported, of which 24 have been discharged and 7 have died

Mortality surveillance

  • 14 deaths reported among confirmed or probable cases

  • No excess mortality from all causes and across all age groups detected through week S17
