Designing prevention with and for the public

In Guadeloupe and Martinique, the issue of exposure to chlordecone remains a sensitive one, marked by a breakdown in trust between the public and the authorities. In response to this situation, Santé publique France launched a project in 2020 focused on prevention messages regarding this pesticide, which led to a series of participatory workshops held in late 2023. This co-design approach aims to adapt the recommendations to local realities and facilitate their adoption by residents of the French West Indies.
