A life on the margins for rural youth without a high school diploma

In rural areas, where the job market has also shifted toward the service sector, many young people without qualifications face a harsh yet often unseen precariousness: unstable contracts, irregular hours, under-the-table work, and unemployment without benefits. Job placement policies that rely on training and mobility are ill-suited for people who lack financial resources, a car, and a professional network.
