  • The incidence rate of acute diarrhea reported by the Sentinelles network has been rising for several weeks, but remains comparable to data observed during the same period over the past 10 years.

  • The proportion of consultations for acute gastroenteritis at SOS Médecins and hospital emergency departments (Oscour) is stabilizing after an increase observed over the past several weeks. These proportions remain low compared to seasons prior to 2019–2020.

  • Rotavirus vaccination for infants is now recommended in France to protect them against gastroenteritis caused by these viruses.
