Struck by the "invisibility" of certain young people facing extreme hardship who fall through the cracks of the social support system, teacher Yves Sihrener founded an organization that helps them integrate into society through combat sports. Launched in 1986, this program has become a permanent fixture in the Lille metropolitan area and employs five instructors. Some of the young people who have benefited from this program now serve as instructors.
