Socioeconomic challenges: their impact on health and education.

According to several recent studies, the proportion of students facing financial hardship has increased over the past decade. This growing financial insecurity has consequences for their health: they rarely seek medical care or treatment due to a lack of funds, particularly those who are forced to work to pay for their education. These socioeconomic inequalities therefore exacerbate health inequalities.
