News from the streets: a different perspective on the homeless.

Marie Paulen, a journalist, presents the documentary "Des nouvelles d'ici-bas," which follows the stories of people living in precarious circumstances. In an interview, director Françoit Royet explains his approach and shares his experiences working with the people featured in the film. "Des nouvelles d'ici-bas" demonstrates the value of a long-term support approach for the homeless. The documentary can be used as an educational tool to better understand the social work approach; it can also serve as a training resource for any public health professional. It effectively captures reality in detail, prompting reflection and challenging assumptions.
