Jacques Fortin passed away on December 1, 2015. A professor, public health physician, and pediatrician, he was a member of the editorial board of La Santé en action. Highly active, he wrote regularly for the journal and helped coordinate numerous special issues. Committed, rigorous, uncompromising in his ethical standards, attentive to and dedicated to serving professionals in the field, Jacques was a “conveyor” of knowledge.
