Fil Santé Jeunes: Listening and Providing Guidance to Break the Cycle of Isolation.

They are between 14 and 20 years old; they call the doctors and psychologists at the Fil Santé Jeunes helpline as a last resort, overcome with shame, not daring to talk about it with their families or a doctor. The counselors at Fil Santé Jeunes try to help these young women accept their bodies more fully, relieve their guilt, and encourage them to seek treatment. A valuable exchange and some inspiring testimonials about the loneliness felt by these young people struggling with anorexia or bulimia.
