Cooperation between the city, landlords, and mental health services to "halt eviction proceedings" [Interview].

In four arrondissements of Paris, multidisciplinary teams of Éliahs professionals (Inter-sectoral Liaison Teams for Support in Housing and Care) reach out to tenants in situations of extreme social and psychological vulnerability, with the specific aim of preventing their eviction. A social worker, a nurse, a psychiatrist, and a coordinator regularly visit their homes and provide support to help them keep their housing and access their rights and care. More than 60% of them receive no social support from local social services, even though the need is very real. The team’s intervention helps restore appropriate care.
