Monitoring of eye complications related to the total solar eclipse of August 11, 1999

At the request of the Directorate General for Health, the Institute for Health Surveillance has established a monitoring system for eye complications that may have occurred following the observation of the eclipse. A standardized collection of anonymous data will be conducted among the 5,400 public and private ophthalmologists practicing in France.
