Why Young French People Are Drinking (Slightly) Less

Alcohol consumption among young people has declined over the past twenty years, driven by changing social behaviors and greater awareness of the risks. Sobriety is gaining ground, supported by NoLo marketing and increased parental vigilance. However, this decline remains fragile, with a rebound observed since 2022.
