The effectiveness of prevention programs addressing addictive behaviors is a key issue in terms of optimizing resources, improving program quality, and ensuring equity in prevention services. However, the conditions necessary for evaluating program effectiveness are still rarely met. What options are available to program implementers to maximize the chances of success for their initiatives?
