Quality standards in prevention: a bridge to evaluation.

The effectiveness of prevention programs addressing addictive behaviors is a key issue in terms of optimizing resources, improving program quality, and ensuring equity in prevention services. However, the conditions necessary for evaluating program effectiveness are still rarely met.
