Key Points 

• In Week 31 (July 27–August 2, 2026), activity at SOS Médecins clinics was down again among those under 15 years of age (-8%, or -1,578 procedures) and remained stable among those aged 15–74. It rose slightly among those aged 75 and older (+5%, or +366 procedures).
• Most indicators were stable or declining among both children and adults. However, there was an increase in heatstroke cases among children (+44%, or +18 cases) and adults (+32%, or +25 cases), though at levels well below those observed during the first three heat waves of this year. Treatments for allergies also increased among children (+15%, or +57 cases) and among those aged 75 and older (+33%, or +15 cases), at levels comparable to previous years.
• Among those aged 75 and older, there was an increase in procedures for trauma (+21%, or +86 procedures), falls (+15%, or +27 cases), low back pain and sciatica (+6%, or +18 cases), and urinary tract infections (+15%, or +45 cases). Consultations for anxiety were also on the rise among those aged 65 and older (+11%, or +21 cases).
