Key Points

In Week 32 (August 3–9, 2026), activity at SOS Médecins clinics rose slightly among those aged 75 and older (+6%, or +413 procedures). It remained stable among those aged 2–14 and 15–74. It declined among children under 2 (-7%, or -279 cases).

Most indicators were stable or declining among both children and adults. However, there was an increase in the number of cases at levels comparable to previous years:

  • Among children under 2 years of age for infectious conjunctivitis (+25%, or +36 cases) and diarrhea (+25%, or +22 cases),
  • Among children aged 2–14 for insect bites (+18%, or +56 visits) and impetigo (+13%, or +69 visits),
  • Among those aged 15–74, for various ENT conditions (+16%, or +250 procedures) and allergies (+14%, or +105 procedures).
  • Among those aged 75 and older, for urinary tract infections (+18%, or +60 visits), dehydration (+21%, or +14 visits), acute abdominal pain (+32%, or +50 procedures), and pneumonia (+15%, or +33 procedures).
