In Week 38 (September 14–20, 2026), the number of emergency department visits among children rose for the third consecutive week (+10%, or +8,502 visits), as did the number of hospitalizations following emergency department visits among children under 2 years of age (+10%, or +278 hospitalizations). These indicators remained stable compared to the previous week among adults.

Indicators for ENT, respiratory, and infectious diseases continued to rise compared to the previous week:

• ENT conditions among children (+39%, or +2,870 visits), at levels comparable to previous years. However, hospitalizations following ENT visits are higher than in previous years;
• asthma attacks: among children (+21%, or +534 visits) and those aged 15–74 (+29%, or +277 visits), at levels lower than in previous years;
• bronchiolitis in children under 1 year of age (+74%, or +289 visits), slightly lower than in previous years;
• suspected COVID-19 in children (+16%, or +25 visits) and in adults (+67%, or +204 visits), at levels lower than in previous years;
• influenza/flu-like illness in all age groups (+32%, or +115 visits), at levels slightly higher than in previous years.

There was also an increase in visits:

• among children aged 2–14 for trauma (+6%, or +1,594 visits) and neurological disorders (+8%, or +70 visits);
• among children under 2 years of age for isolated fever (+11%, or +208 visits);
• for suicide attempts among children (+16%, or 25 additional visits) and those aged 15–64 (+8%, or 106 additional visits).
