Key Points 

  • In Week 24 (June 8–14, 2026), the number of emergency department visits and hospitalizations following such visits remained stable across all age groups compared to the previous week.
  • Most of the indicators being monitored remain stable or are decreasing, at levels comparable to those of previous years. However, there has been an increase in visits for:
    • fever alone in adults (+9%, or +115 visits);
    • feeling unwell (+9%, or +408 visits) and stroke (+7%, or +109 visits) among those aged 75 and older;
    • urinary tract infections among children under 2 years of age (+26%, or +70 visits);
    • insect bites among those aged 15–74 (+14%, or +58 visits).
