SOS Médecins National Newsletter, September 21, 2010

Over the past week, the total volume of activity at SOS Médecins clinics has increased across all age groups, except for patients aged 75 and older.

The increase in the "Asthma" and "Bronchiolitis and Respiratory Diseases in Infants" indicators, already observed the previous week, continues across all regions. This trend is also observed in emergency departments (source: OSCOUR®).

The "gastroenteritis" indicator has risen slightly compared to the previous week, particularly in the Centre/Ile-de-France and West regions.

In addition, there has been a slight increase in calls regarding fever in children and calls regarding flu-like symptoms (graphs not shown).

The number of deaths certified by SOS Médecins associations remained stable over the past week.
