SOS Médecins National Newsletter, October 19, 2010

Over the past week, the total volume of activity at SOS Médecins clinics has remained stable across all age groups compared to the previous week.

The "Asthma" indicator has decreased slightly. Calls for "bronchiolitis and respiratory conditions in infants" stabilized over the past week, except in the Centre/Ile-de-France region, where they increased.

The "gastroenteritis" indicator has been rising steadily for several weeks.

Furthermore, the reasons for calls regarding fever among those aged 15–74 have stabilized and have increased slightly among children. There has also been an increase in clinical influenza diagnoses, while the reasons for calls regarding flu-like symptoms have remained at the same level for the past month (graphs not shown here).

The number of deaths certified by the SOS Médecins associations is similar to that of the previous week.
