Summary

In week 41 (October 8–15), activity at SOS Médecins clinics continued to rise among children under 2 years of age (+7%, or +387 visits). It increased moderately among those aged 2–14 and 15–74, and remained stable among those over 75.

Visits related to nonspecific symptoms remained stable across all age groups, with the exception of allergies (+22%, or +27 visits) and isolated fever in children.

Among seasonal indicators, for both children and adults, there was an increase in visits for gastroenteritis (10%, or +146 visits, and 9%, or +296 visits, respectively) and pneumonia (16%, or +19 visits, and 28%, or +62 visits, respectively). Visits for infectious conjunctivitis across all age groups also rose by 8%. These trends are consistent with those of the previous two years.

Among the most common conditions, there was an increase in visits for viral syndrome (+17%) and trauma (+11%) in children, anxiety (+13%) in adults aged 15–74, and heart failure (+25%) in the elderly.
