Summary

In week 47 (November 19–25), total activity at SOS Médecins clinics rose sharply for the second consecutive week among children (+18%, or +4,392 visits), while it remained stable among adults aged 15–74 and rose slightly among those aged 75 and older (+3.9%, or +242 visits).

Over the past week, there was a notable increase in visits for: - bronchiolitis in children under 2 years of age: +40%, with 7 regions experiencing an epidemic this week and 6 regions in the pre-epidemic stage; - other respiratory conditions in both children and adults (influenza/flu-like illness: +58%, bronchitis: +34% in children and +14.3% in adults, pneumonia: +37.4% in children and +6.3% in adults, upper respiratory tract conditions: +27% in children and +11.3% in adults, asthma attacks: +12%), - infectious conjunctivitis (+20%) in children under 15 and, to a lesser extent, vomiting in 2- to 14-year-olds (+15%), - deaths among those aged 75 and older (+19.3%).

All indicators are at levels consistent with those of previous years
