Summary
In Week 20 (May 14–20), total activity at SOS Médecins clinics declined across all age groups (-16%, or -12,260 visits).
With the exception of meningitis in children (+40%), visits across all age groups for seasonal illnesses are down and have returned to the same level as the previous two years. This decline follows a significant increase in Week 19 (May 7–13, 2018).
Visits related to non-specific symptoms are stable or even declining among children and adults.
Among the most common conditions, there was an increase in visits for acute abdominal pain among 2- to 14-year-olds (+14%) and for falls among those over 75 (+5%).
