SOS Médecins National Newsletter, March 30, 2010

The first issue of the spring newsletter is being produced this week, featuring updates on syndrome-based indicators for allergies, asthma, gastroenteritis, and deaths.

Over the past week, the total volume of activity at SOS Médecins clinics remained stable compared to the previous week across all geographic areas.

The proportion of cases for the "gastroenteritis" indicator is down slightly in all geographic areas. It accounts for approximately 15% of total activity. The proportion of cases for the allergies indicator is stable in all geographic areas, as is that for the asthma indicator among those over 2 years of age.The number of deaths certified by the SOS Médecins associations is similar to that of the previous week.

For the past week, total activity has remained stable in most regions.
