Summary

In Week 25 (June 15–21, 2020), total activity at SOS Médecins clinics rose slightly among children aged 2–14 (+9.3%, or +524 visits) and remained stable in other age groups.

Over the past week, medical procedures for suspected COVID-19 decreased by 13% compared to the previous week (887 procedures across all ages vs. 1,016 procedures in Week 24).
Their share of total activity remained stable at 1.9% (vs. 2.2% in Week 24).
By region, Île-de-France (19%), Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes (13%), Grand-Est (10%), and PACA (10%) recorded the highest number of procedures for suspected COVID-19.
Since the start of surveillance, 58,005 procedures for suspected COVID-19 have been performed.

An increase in several seasonal indicators is also observed:

  • insect bites in both children and adults (+37% across all ages, +233 cases);

  • allergies in children (+16%, +57 cases);

  • heatstroke in small groups (all ages: 30 in S25 compared to 11 in S24).

Among other indicators, an increase in cases is observed:

  • across all age groups, for isolated fever (+11% across all ages, or +105 cases);

  • in children, for upper respiratory tract conditions (+12%, +191 visits) and various dermatological conditions (+46%, +70 visits).
