SOS Médecins National Newsletter, June 1, 2015

Summary

  • Overall activity at clinics is on the rise across all age groups, but more notably among children under 15, likely due in part to the long Pentecost weekend.

  • Visits for asthma and allergies are significantly higher among adults under 75 as well as children aged 2–14 for asthma, with a peak over the weekend. This increase is expected at this time of year, although it is slightly earlier than in the previous two years.

  • Visits for insect bites are on the rise among children and young adults, within expected ranges.
