SOS Médecins National Newsletter, June 1, 2015
Summary
Overall activity at clinics is on the rise across all age groups, but more notably among children under 15, likely due in part to the long Pentecost weekend.
Visits for asthma and allergies are significantly higher among adults under 75 as well as children aged 2–14 for asthma, with a peak over the weekend. This increase is expected at this time of year, although it is slightly earlier than in the previous two years.
Visits for insect bites are on the rise among children and young adults, within expected ranges.
