Summary
In Week 29 (July 15–21, 2019), total SOS Médecins activity was similar to Week 28, down 15% among children (-2,915 visits) and stable among adults.
Over the past week, seasonal and non-specific indicators were down or stable, with the exception of cases of isolated fever, which rose among adults for the second consecutive week (8%, or +41 cases), insect bites among 2- to 14-year-olds (+9%, or +31 cases), and chickenpox among children under 2 years of age (+17%, or +18 cases).
Among the most common conditions, the only notable increases were in cases of anxiety (+31%, or +46 visits), low back pain/sciatica (+20%, or +55 visits), and general malaise (+13%, or +49 visits) among people aged 75 and older.
