Summary

In week 49 (December 3–9), overall activity at SOS Médecins clinics remained stable across all age groups. Over the past week, activity related to most seasonal illnesses remained stable. However, increases were observed for: - bronchiolitis in children under 2 years of age (+15%, or +122 cases), at levels higher than in the previous two years; - influenza, flu-like syndrome in all age groups (+15%, or +195 cases), at levels lower than the previous two years, - gastroenteritis (+6%), vomiting (+15%), infectious conjunctivitis (+6%), and acute bronchitis (+5%) in children under 15, at moderate levels.

Among the most common conditions, there was an increase in procedures for viral syndrome in children under 15 (+13%) and trauma in those over 75 (+11%).
