Key Points

  • In Week 34 (August 19–25, 2024), activity at SOS Médecins clinics declined across all age groups (-9.2%, or -7,625 visits) compared to the previous week (the week of August 15, a holiday with high activity for SOS Médecins clinics).

  • Most seasonal indicators are stable or declining. However, there was a slight increase in cases of viral meningitis among those aged 15–74 (i.e., +7 cases).

  • After a week of increases, cases of pertussis are once again declining among children under 15 and adults (-22.6% and -12.3%, or -54 and -32 cases). Regarding other respiratory conditions, there was an increase across all age groups in cases of asthma attacks (+9.7%, or +58 cases).
