Key Points

In Week 32 (August 4–10, 2025), compared to the previous week, activity at SOS Médecins clinics decreased among those under 15 years of age (-9%, or 1,552 fewer visits), increased among those aged 75 and older (+5%, or 328 more visits), and remained stable among those aged 15–74.

Among seasonal indicators, consultations for the following conditions were up compared to the previous week:

  • allergies in all age groups (+10%, or +121 cases across all ages),

  • heatstroke in all age groups, with low numbers (+51 cases across all ages), in line with figures observed in previous years during this period,

  • suspected COVID-19 in all age groups, with low numbers (+11%, or +66 cases across all ages),

  • chickenpox only among children under 2 years of age (+31%, or +20 cases).

Among those aged 75 and older, there was also an increase in cases compared to the previous week for:

  • deterioration in general health (+21%, or +66 cases),

  • upper respiratory tract conditions (+19%, or +48 cases),

  • asthma attacks (+64%, or +16 visits),

  • dehydration (+95%, or +23 cases),

  • acute abdominal pain (+11%, or +20 cases), and

  • anxiety (+13%, or +24 cases).
