  • Hospital visits remain stable among adults and children under 2 years of age, while they are down (-6%) among children aged 2–14. Hospitalizations for all causes are down among adults over 75 years of age (-4.4%).

  • Heat-related visits and hospitalizations are declining sharply across all age groups, though numbers remain significantly higher than in previous years during this period.

  • Visits and hospitalizations for isolated fever and malaise are down, though numbers remain higher than expected for this time of year. Visits for asthma are also down, at levels comparable to previous years.
