Summary
The number of visits is rising among children aged 2–14. In other age groups, the numbers of visits and hospitalizations remain stable.
Cases of influenza/flu-like illness continue to rise across all age groups, with a more pronounced increase among children under 2 years of age. Nearly all regions are experiencing an epidemic.
Of note is an increase in visits for fever alone across all age groups, accompanied by an increase in hospitalizations among children under 2 years of age.
Activity related to gastroenteritis is stable across all age groups, with case numbers slightly below those of the previous two years.
