  • The number of visits and hospitalizations is up by about 6% among adults and down among children.

  • Cases of upper respiratory tract infections, bronchitis, and pneumonia are rising sharply among adults, most notably among those over 75, with case numbers within expected ranges. For these last two indicators, the first winter peak was surpassed during the past week.

  • Among children under 2 years of age, visits and hospitalizations for bronchiolitis are declining, with the epidemic peak having been surpassed in all regions.
