  • Visits to emergency rooms are rising sharply across all age groups (+5.5%, or 18,667 visits).

  • Visits for influenza/flu-like illness are rising sharply, and the start of the epidemic has been announced in Brittany and the Île-de-France region.

  • Emergency room visits for bronchiolitis among children under two years of age are still on the rise this week. The epidemic has spread throughout mainland France, with the exception of Corsica.

  • All seasonal indicators are rising across all age groups, with the exception of fainting spells, which are increasing only among adults aged 75 and older (the second most common diagnosis).

  • Cardiac conditions are on the rise among adults, and more markedly among adults aged 75 and older.
