Key Points
In Week 13 (March 27–April 2, 2023), emergency department visits and hospitalizations following such visits remained stable across all age groups.
Most respiratory indicators were stable or declining, with the exception of asthma among 2- to 14-year-olds and 15- to 74-year-olds (up 14%, or 206 visits, and up 33%, or 355 visits, respectively).
Among children, there was also an increase in visits for conjunctivitis (+10%, or +68 visits, still at levels higher than in previous years) and for digestive disorders (+9%, or +157 visits).
