Key Points

Week 10 (March 7–13, 2022):

In Week 10 of 2022, emergency department visits for anxiety and mood disorders, as well as procedures for anxiety within the SOS Médecins network, are on the rise among children. Among adults, indicators are stable or declining in both networks.
The levels observed for these indicators remain similar to or even lower than those of previous years

Data on emergency department visits from the OSCOUR® network:

  • Among children, there was an increase in visits for anxiety disorders (+16%, or +41 visits) and mood disorders (+11%, or +15 visits), with levels comparable to previous years.

  • Among adults (age 15 and older), visits are on the rise for mood disorders among those aged 65 and older (+6%, or +15 visits). The other indicators are stable or declining. The observed levels are similar to those of previous years.
