Mental Health. Monthly Update, November 2022.

Key Points

  • In emergency departments: indicators were stable or declining across all age groups, with the exception of visits for suicidal ideation among 15- to 17-year-olds and 25- to 64-year-olds, and for anxiety disorders among 11- to 14-year-olds (which were on the rise). The levels observed for suicidal ideation remained higher than in all age groups starting at age 11 and were particularly pronounced among 18-64-year-olds.

  • In the SOS Médecins network: there was a slight increase in cases of anxiety among 25-64-year-olds and depressive states among 18-24-year-olds. However, all indicators fluctuated at levels comparable to or even lower than those of previous years.
