Key Points
In Week 9, in both networks, the largest increases were observed among 18- to 24-year-olds.
In emergency departments:
visits for suicidal behavior and ideation and mood disorders were stable or declining but remain at high levels, comparable to those observed in early 2021, or even higher, particularly among 15- to 17-year-olds and 18- to 24-year-olds. Among other indicators, the levels observed remain comparable to previous years, with a notable increase in visits due to alcohol intoxication among 18- to 24-year-olds.
Within the SOS Médecins network:
there was an increase in medical procedures for anxiety among 18- to 24-year-olds and, in small numbers, an increase in procedures for depressive states and behavioral disorders among those aged 25 and older. The levels observed remained comparable to those of previous years.
