While the number of cases involving suicidal acts and suicidal ideation remained higher than in previous years, the other indicators remained within their usual ranges. There was an increase in visits for acute alcohol intoxication during the first week of the year, linked to January 1, among 15- to 17-year-olds and 18- to 24-year-olds.

• Among adults, emergency department visits were stable or slightly higher in January 2025 compared to December, as were SOS Médecins calls for anxiety and behavioral disorders among 25- to 64-year-olds in week 02. The number of visits for suicidal ideation remained higher than in previous years.
