Summary

Mortality recorded by vital statistics offices during the week of September 15–21 (Week 38) is stable and in line with expected values for this period (Figures 1 and 2). This trend is observed both across all ages and within the various age groups (Figure 3). 575 deaths were electronically certified during the past week (September 22–28), a figure comparable to those of previous weeks (Figure 4).
