Summary

During the first week of November (November 3–9, 2014—Week 45), the number of deaths recorded by civil registry offices was in line with expectations for this period (Figures 1 and 2). Mortality follows the usual seasonal pattern both across all ages and within the various age groups (Figure 3). 606 deaths were certified electronically during the past week (November 10–16), a figure that remains stable compared to previous weeks (Figure 4).
