Health Surveillance of Mortality. Weekly Update, May 24, 2016.

Summary

Mortality rates observed during the second week of May (May 9–15) remained stable and continued to be slightly lower than expected for this period, across all ages and age groups (Figures 1–3). With nearly 1,200 deaths certified electronically over the past week, mortality rates continue to decline slightly.
