Summary

Based on mortality data provided by INSEE, the observed number of deaths from all causes during week 21 (May 22–28, 2017) is close to the expected number for this period across all age groups (Figures 1–3).According to data from electronic death certificates, 1,266 deaths were recorded during week 22 of 2017 (May 29–June 4, 2017).
