Health Surveillance of Mortality. Weekly Update, July 23, 2019

Nationwide, during weeks 27 and 28 (July 1–14), death rates remained generally within the usual range of fluctuation. These observations should be interpreted with caution, as the data are not yet consolidated due to the usual delays in data transmission. Their purpose is to describe trends in mortality without linking them to any current events.

According to data from electronic certification, 2,074 deaths were recorded in week 29 (July 15–21, 2019).
