Key Points

  • Starting in week 20, the number of deaths from all causes returned to the usual range of fluctuation at the national level and in all regions.

  • The number of deaths returned to the usual range of variation starting in week 21 among people aged 15–64 and starting in week 24 among those aged 65–84. Among people aged 85 and older, the number of deaths showed slightly lower-than-usual mortality between weeks 25 and 27.

These trends remain to be confirmed as the data is consolidated.
