Summary

At the national level, the number of deaths occurring during week 48 (November 26–December 2, 2018) remains within the usual range of fluctuation across all age groups, with the exception of the 0–14 age group, where an increase in the number of deaths is observed that is near the threshold of statistical significance.

These observations should be interpreted with caution, as the data are not yet consolidated due to the usual delays in transmission.

According to data from electronic certification, 2,002 deaths were recorded in week 49 (December 3–9, 2018).
