Summary

Based on mortality data provided by INSEE, the observed number of deaths from all causes during week 32 (August 7–13, 2017) remains within the usual range of fluctuation for this period, both for all ages and by age group.

Given the usual delays in data transmission, the mortality figures observed over these two weeks are still incomplete. Caution is therefore advised when interpreting these observations at both the national and regional levels.

According to data from electronic certification, 1,229 deaths were recorded during week 33 of 2017 (August 14–20, 2017).
